Coordinates all the activities of the project.
Realizes the theoretical modelling (analytical and numerical) of STX.
Realizes the tribological evaluation of STX through experimentation of the models on laboratory test rigs (pin-on-disk test rig), in fluid and dry conditions.
Participates at the other test categories.
Elaborates testing technologies and computation methods.

Realizes STX models through laser ablation on the plane and on the interior cylindrical surfaces.
Participates at the tests.
Elaborates technologies for the realization of STX.
COMOTI
Experiments STX in quasi-real functioning conditions, on journal bearings
Elaborates technologies for the testing of the cylindrical-surface models
METAV
Evaluates the geometry and the phisical-chemical characteristics of the textured surfaces
Elaborates the technology of analysis of the STX tribomodels
